Speaking with a Single VoiceExperience | Need | Where Am I | Single Voice Customers today receive hundreds, if not thousands, of uncontrolled messages about your products and your organization companies from friends, family, colleagues, competitors and the media. So you MUST strive for and demand rigorous consistency over the messages you do control. Everything communication should speak the same language and have the same look. For instance, logos and trademarks should have only one specified look. Using an outdated logo one day and an updated one the next suggests confusion. Copy should use consistent phrases and descriptions. If you have a color palette, stick to it and demand consistency from vendors whether it’s painted, inked or produced electronically. And, if you think this is all about advertising and symbols and logos, guess again. Every message from sales to customer service to each and every employee of your organization must speak with a single voice. Many a great product has been undermined by poor service or ineffectual salesmanship.
